Von Trapp Historic Tour - As Maria von Trapp once said, "Our life is like a beautiful story that happens to be true." The von Trapp family's journey is a remarkable story. The Von Trapp’s fled Austria just before WWII and started the Von Trapp Singers in Philadelphia. They later bought a home in Stowe, VT, where they ran the Trapp Family Music Camp. Maria wrote an autobiography that inspired the play and movie, The Sound of Music, and her story became an American legend.

Cog Railway – The Mount Washington Cog Railway is the world’s first mountain climbing cog railway.  The railway climbs Mount Washington in New Hampshire.   It uses a Marsh rack system and both steam and biodiesel powered locomotives carry tourists to the top of the mountain (6,288 ft.)

Chondola Ride at Sunday River - Ride to the top of the mountain on either a chair lift or an enclosed gondola.  Enjoy spectacular views of the Mahoosuc Mountains and the valley below! See Sunday River's Aurora Peak and Jordan Bowl, along with Goose Eye and Old Speck Mountain.
