Farnsworth House (Haunted Cellar Tour) a unique and spine-chilling experience for those interested in both history and the supernatural. This tour takes you deep into the historic cellar of the inn, which has a reputation for paranormal activity. The Farnsworth House Inn itself is a historic building that dates back to the 19th century, and it has ties to the Civil War, which adds to its eerie allure. The Farnsworth House Inn has a storied history. It served as a hospital during the Civil War, and it's located near the site of heavy fighting during the Battle of Gettysburg. It's said that the cellar was used for storage and as a makeshift hospital, which is one of the reasons it's believed to be haunted. Guests report seeing apparitions and hearing strange noises in the cellar and around the building. The cellar, which is part of the tour, is rumored to be one of the most haunted areas of the property.
Ghost Tour – We are offering two different ghostly experiences. On our first adventure, we will be having a story teller come to our hotel telling stories of ghosts and experiences in Gettysburg area. Our second night we will enjoy a bus ride with a Gettysburg Step on Story Teller where we will enjoy a spooky journey through the countryside to Sachs Covered Bridge and Gettysburg College.
Battlefield Tour - Enjoy this two-hour tour of the Battlefields in Gettysburg. Travel the historic fields of Gettysburg via motor coach and watch history come alive through the eyes of a Licensed Battlefield Guide. We will enjoy countless views of the different battlefields - monuments, cannons, terrain features, etc.
Schriver House Museum Travel back in time with a guide in period attire as you walk through the Shriver’s’ meticulously restored 1860 home to learn the other side of the story - the civilian side of the Battle of Gettysburg. Connect to the past while you listen to the story of George, Hettie, Sadie (7) and Mollie (5) unfold as you move from room to room to appreciate what life was like before, during, and after the Civil War.

Jennie Wade House- Visiting the Jennie Wade House in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, offers a poignant and historic experience. This small, white-washed house was the site of a tragic event during the Civil War and is a significant landmark for those interested in American history. Jennie Wade was a 20-year-old woman who became the only civilian killed during the Battle of Gettysburg, which took place from July 1 to 3, 1863. She was fatally shot while baking bread for Union soldiers in her home, struck by a stray bullet that came through the door of her house. The Jennie Wade House is preserved to honor her memory and the civilians who endured great hardships during the battle.

As you step into the market, the inviting aroma of freshly baked goods and seasonal fruits greets you. The setting is cozy and rustic, with wooden crates overflowing with crisp apples, pumpkins, and gourds that create a perfect autumn atmosphere. Hollabaugh Brothers, known for their family-owned farm and high-quality produce, makes you feel right at home with their friendly and knowledgeable staff. The wagon ride is a leisurely, scenic tour through the surrounding orchards or fields, where you can see the farm up close.. During the ride, a knowledgeable guide or farmer shares insights about the farm’s history, the different types of apples grown, and the sustainable farming practices used. The landscape, especially during the fall, is stunning, with rows of apple trees laden with fruit, and the occasional farm animal grazing in the distance.
