Highlights may include: Historic Bats: Display cases featuring bats used by legendary players like Babe Ruth, Ted Williams, and Derek Jeter. After the exhibits, the group proceeds to the factory section, where the magic happens: you will witness Bat Production: Visitors see how bats are crafted from raw wood to finished product. Churchill Downs Racetrack with twilight racing –a unique experience that combines the thrill of horse racing with the vibrant atmosphere of an evening event. The events feature a mix of live thoroughbred races and dinner served on Millionaires Row. Twilight Racing at Churchill Downs captures the essence of horse racing while creating a fun and accessible atmosphere for all attendees.
Old Friends Farm – in Louisville, Kentucky, is a retirement home for Thoroughbred racehorses. Established by former trainer Michael Blowen, it provides a sanctuary for retired equine athletes, allowing them to live out their golden years in a safe and nurturing environment. The farm features lush pastures, cozy barns, and plenty of space for the horses to roam freely. We will take a guided tours to learn about the horses’ stories, meet famous retired racers, and gain insight into the care and rehabilitation of these animals.
