Vermont Marble Museum and Sutherland Quarry is the largest marble exhibit in the world, and a great source of pride for generations of Vermonters. Through the displays, exhibits, galleries, gift shop and grounds, the Vermont Marble Museum tells a unique story of the people and places that made up Vermont’s marble industry, linking historical, artistic and cultural traditions, and connecting the past with the present.

Dakin Farm - Come see how time-honored skills and century-old tradition combine with the most modern smokehouse facilities to produce ham, cheddar cheese, Pure Vermont Maple Syrup, and other specialty foods known the world over for their unique flavor and wholesome goodness.

Spirit of Ethan Allen Cruise - Surrounded by the brilliant colors of fall, enjoy a delicious dinner aboard the Ethan Allen as you gently cruise scenic Lake Champlain with great views of the majestic Adirondack Mountains of New York and the Green Mountains of Vermont. Live musical entertainment tops the journey off!

Von Trapp Historic Tour - As Maria von Trapp once said, "Our life is like a beautiful story that happens to be true." The von Trapp family's journey is a remarkable story. The Von Trapp’s fled Austria just before WWII and started the Von Trapp Singers in Philadelphia. They later bought a home in Stowe, VT, where they ran the Trapp Family Music Camp. Maria wrote an autobiography that inspired the play and movie, The Sound of Music, and her story became an American legend.

Ben and Jerry’s - From a renovated gas station in Burlington, Vermont, to far-off places with names we sometimes mispronounce, the journey that began in 1978 with 2 guys and the ice cream business they built is as legendary as the ice cream is euphoric. Visit the Ice Cream facility, famous for Vermont’s finest. Stop by the gift shop for all things Ben & Jerry's. Choose from beach towels, flavor lip balms, travel mugs, as well as pint certificates that travel much better than actual pints!

Hobo Scenic Railroad - Travel through a natural setting along the twisting Pemigewassett River, just a few minutes away from Franconia Notch and the White Mountain National Forest.

Kancamagus Highway -Travel New Hampshire’s most scenic roadway, filled with breath-taking, mountain vistas. Time to capture great foliage shots!!!

Maine Moose Safari and Nature Tour - You’ll go wild over these majestic forest animals!   Get in touch with nature as you tour through some of the most picturesque locations in Grafton Notch State Park in search of Moose. Throughout the tour, your experienced local tour guide will tell you all you need to know about moose, their habits and even some fun facts you won’t hear anywhere else.

Chondola Ride at Sunday River - Ride to the top of the mountain on either a chair lift or an enclosed gondola.  Enjoy spectacular views of the Mahoosuc Mountains and the valley below! See Sunday River's Aurora Peak and Jordan Bowl, along with Goose Eye and Old Speck Mountain.

National Wife Carrying Contest and Festival - Carried on National TV, this prestigious competition is couples competing for the finals in Finland.  It’s both athletic and hilarious at the same time.  Enjoy musical entertainment that lasts all afternoon, munch on local fare and visit the huge crafts fair.
