Student Travel to Canada
Five things you should know when traveling to Canada.

1.  Students under the age of 19, if traveling with a school, religious or other youth group, only need to present a birth certificate, Consular Report of Birth Abroad, or naturalization certificate when crossing the border via land and sea.

2.  It is highly recommended that you DO NOT bring fruit, vegetables, dairy, meats, etc. when crossing the border in general.

3.  When traveling by air, you are required to have a passport.

4.  Estimated time is one hour for a motorcoach to cross the border.

5.  Canadian currency is the Canadian Dollar (CAD). Please not that Canada no longer manufactures the penny. Instead, the cost when paying cash is rounded up or down to the nearest $.05.
